If you missed it, you can view the matrix HERE. At this time, this matrix will go into effect on January 11, 2021. We are excited that our elementary students will be the first to return and are hopeful that we will be at Level Orange, where we are safely able to have everyone back in-person two days a week.
Please continue to provide us with weekly feedback on remote learning. Mr. Roderick and I DO read the feedback and work to make adjustments to what we see may or not be working well. Thank you to those who have been providing feedback thus far. Your feedback helps us to continually refine and improve the instruction your child receives while remote.
We know that since moving to remote learning, there may have been assignments, days, or projects that your child may not have been able to complete. We encourage you and your child to take some time over the next two weeks to get caught up with any missing work. The quarter ends on January 15th, with report cards coming home shortly after that. Grades will be based on work completed and returned. Your student also has full access to i-Ready reading and math, which is a great way to continue learning over the break.
While this holiday season will be different, there are benefits to a slower pace during this time of year. We wish you and your family a holiday season filled with quality time with one another and opportunities to soak in the magic of the season through your child’s eyes. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a New Year….. with less surprises!
