Your child will be coming home today with all of their personal belongings and their bins with school supplies. In addition, your child will be bringing home a Chromebook and charger in order to access remote learning throughout. If your child was absent from school today, or does not get home with all of their belongings, please call the school office. We will likely have a pick up day in the coming days.
We will be offering meals for all students as we did in the spring. More information on how to access meals and pick up times will be forthcoming.
We encourage you to take some time to debrief this pivot to remote learning with your child this evening. They may have strong emotions about not being able to be with their teacher and friends in person. They also may be worried about remote learning and have questions. You may also make some time to have them set up their school supplies and create a personal learning space within your home. This will help them to feel prepared for the next steps in their new learning environment.
We appreciate each of you and recognize the collective and individual challenges that this pivot creates. Please continue to read both district, school, and teacher communication in order to stay up-to-date on all of the details.
