Dear Parents and Students,

If you were unable to pick up your student’s materials/belongings last week, please plan to do so as EVERY STUDENT has a bag that needs to be picked up.  The school office is open M-F from 8am to 3pm until June 11th for student materials/belongings pick up or other needs. We will also have items from LOST & FOUND hanging on the fence along the drive through lane during these same hours.  In addition, we are offering extended hours for student materials/belongings pick up on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3rd from 3pm-6pm for our working families.

The district has put together a final survey to learn your desires about learning models, interest in summer school and to gain final feedback about distance learning during Spring 2020.  We appreciate the feedback we’ve received to date and as this situation is ever-changing, we felt it important to get current feedback from our families as we leave for the summer.  This information is VITAL in planning your child’s educational experience for next year.  You can access the survey here: https://t.e2ma.net/click/6acx3b/mv6a8jb/mn4bxi .  We would like to hear from EVERY family about your plans for next year and will be reaching out by phone if we don’t receive a response to the survey above.

Lastly, Mr. Roderick and I want to say thank you for embracing the two of us as Florida Mesa’s administrative team this year.  We are so honored to serve this community and humbled by the graciousness of all of you.  We will continue to strive for excellence in all that we do and seek to engage every student in learning at the highest levels.  We are excited to come back next year to continue this quest for excellence and hopefully to see everyone in person! Enjoy a well deserved summer break and please stay safe and healthy!!

Sincerely,

Shannon Morris, Principal

Tony Roderick, Assistant Principal
