At Florida Mesa, this is something that teachers embrace, teach our students, and enact every day through continuous learning cycles. We encourage our students to set lofty goals, to persevere when learning gets tough, to check in on their progress regularly, and to make adjustments and ask for help along the way. Through continuous improvement, our students are owning their learning and building confidence in their abilities as they learn. As you consider the goals and aspirations you are setting for yourself or your family, discuss your student’s goals with them and encourage them, especially when they struggle. Cheerleader is one of the best roles of parenting! Thanks for being a partner in your child’s learning!
