Kid’s Kamp is our afterschool enrichment program for students.  Kid's Kamp hours begin when school gets out and end at 6:00pm.  Kid’s Kamp operates only on days that school is in session.

ENROLLING YOUR CHILD IN KID’S KAMP

Kid’s Kamp is a program for which you pre-pay and pre-enroll. Payments may be made at the Finance Office at 201 E 12th St, or by phone at 247-5411 x1418.  You will need to confirm your child’s schedule of attendance each month when you pay.  Children must enroll for consistent days of the week for the entire month, although you may change your schedule each month.  Please make sure you fill out a Student Information Sheet and give it to the Site Coordinator or Administrative Assistant at your child’s school.  PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE SCHOOLS.

Each school will have a set enrollment “cap”- meaning that there will be a maximum number of students allowed to attend each day. Once the limit has been reached on a particular day of the week, enrollment will be “capped” for that day. We do this to remain in compliance with our child care licensing requirement of maintaining a fifteen children to one adult ratio.  Enrollment occurs only when payment is received by the Finance Department.  Families may pay in advance for as many months as they would like.

DROP INS

A limited number of drop-in slots will be available on days the enrollment cap has not been reached. To reserve a drop in slot for your child you must contact the Administrative Assistant at your child’s school, they will let you know if space is available. Drop in requests will only be taken THE DAY OF THE DROP IN. You will be mailed a bill the middle of the following month for any drop in service you use. Payment is due upon receipt. Families with past due balances will not be allowed to use the drop in service until their account is cleared.

KID’S KAMP RATES

$8.50 per day, Monday through Friday

$5.50 per day, Monday through Friday, if your child qualifies for free or reduced lunch, or if you have three or more children participating in the program.

$2.00 on Fridays: You may choose this option ONLY if you plan on picking your child up by 3:00pm.  This is not an “add on” fee.  If you pay the daily rate you do not pay an extra $2 on Fridays.

$10.00 per day DROP IN

LATE FEES: If you pick your child up after 6pm, you will be billed $1 per minute for that time. Again, payment is due upon receipt of bill. Families with past due balances will not be allowed to enroll the next month until their account is cleared. The Department of Human Services will be called in the event a child is not picked up by 6:30pm.
