Welcome to the Florida Mesa Elementary Library!
Our library has over 28,000 items for our students and staff to learn from and enjoy!
Each class is scheduled to visit the library once per week, but the library is always open to students who wish to exchange their book.
As students advance in grade level, they take on new responsibilities and earn new privileges:
Kindergarten - May check out one book to their classroom
First Grade - May check out one book to bring home
Second Grade - May check out two books to bring home
Third Grade - May check out periodicals
Fourth Grade - May check out Playaway audio books
Fifth Grade - May check out reference material for one day
Books may be checked out for one week, but renewed as needed unless another student places a hold on the book. Audio books, periodicals, and other materials cannot be renewed due to demand.
Books that are taken home should be cared for and returned responsibly.
While we charge no fines for late returns, should a book be lost or damaged beyond repair, payment for a replacement will be charged.
