It was a joy to see our Florida Mesa scholars take pride in their learning and growth so far this school year. Thank you for joining us! This event gave your children the opportunity to own their learning and communicate their goals for the last quarter of our school year.
A very important parent survey is currently available. Multiple paper copies have been sent home in your child’s backpacks and an electronic copy of the survey can be found at our school website. We use this information to celebrate what we are doing well and make adjustments to areas in which we need improvement. We appreciate the time it takes you to provide valuable feedback.
I am excited to announce that for the 2018-19 school year our second through fifth grade teams will specialize in the content areas. This means that students will rotate among the classrooms to receive their core instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. This allows your children to receive instruction from teachers who specialize in the content standards, as well as develop positive relationships with all of teachers across the grade level.
